Job Purpose:
To provide support to the property management team in the day to day running of a residential lettings portfolio. This internship offers hands on experience and exposure to key aspects of property management, tenant relations and lettings administration in a busy estate agency business.
This internship is a full time paid position, commencing in June and concluding in September/October. This is an excellent opportunity for students and recent graduates who are looking to build their career in the property sector & develop valuable skills.
Prior experience in the property industry is not mandatory, but is advantageous.
Duties will include:
- Assist with handling tenant and landlord enquiries by phone and email.
- Help coordinate property maintenance and repairs with contractors.
- Support with property inspections, inventories, check in and checkout processes.
- Update and maintain records on the property management system.
- Assist with rent collection monitoring and arrears reporting.
- Help organise compliance checks.
- General administrative tasks to support the property management team.
- Prepare tenancy related documentation and correspondence.
Skills required:
- Interest in the property sector and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, reliable and able to multitask.
- Good attention to detail.
- Professional manner, both face to face and over the phone.
